Xmas special? not really..

This entry has nothing to do with Christmas, which has been celebrated coincidentally on the day I decided to update my blog. Nevertheless, i still want to wish everyone, who celebrates it, a happy and merry Christmas.


semalam jalan2 kat bandar nürnberg..biasa je..xd ape2..just enjoy the last moment before Xmas and most importantly just visiting some shops before they close.

kemudian singgah norma, beli brg skit ckp kan stok sempena this festive.  then jumpa this giant snacks, which makes me think I may have addiction problem. By now, I finished it by myself already. When I was in GMI, they called me MSG-Queen, for I loved eating instant noodles. I used to eat twisties (the big one) all by myself in just one shot. Just imagine how much MSG I've been eating all this while.


After I arrived here in Nürnberg, I was clean. I thought my addiction had been cured until I found myself digging into this big bucket for more onion rings. sigh..

Oh ye, bought some telur puyuh (Quail eggs / Wachteleier). This is not something we ate everyday when we were young (not even now). That why I was a bit excited yesterday.

Solok Lada

This is my 1st attempt. This is solok lada. I've never tried this before I guess.**sendiri pn xtau mn dapat tau makanan ni**

Ingredients:
Chili
Canned tuna (substitute for boiled fresh fish)
Onion*minced*
Garlic*minced*
Black pepper*cracked*
update: coconut*desiccated*

Mix onion, garlic, black pepper and tuna (update: and coconut) evenly. Stuff into the Chili. Steam. easy and simple kan.mmg sedap..naik selera makan..haha..padahal mmg kuat makang..huhu

I'm not complaining or denying the power of god. But it is too cold especially when the heater doesn't work. But still, I'm grateful for what I already have.

I'm missing my friends right now.  Rindu nk bonceng motor ngan siah. Rindu ngan bising hiruk pikuk nut, lynn, mai, sab n shiqin. Rindu nk jalan2 n enjoy ngan lyd. Rindu nk ckp2 ngan shida, dengar dia ngomel2 about this and that. Rindu those three girls, ching, cheng and jun yg sllu crushed my house whenever they liked. Siap 5x tulis perkataan rindu xtermasuk missing. huu

I have to study. But for now, I need to clean my room. I feel a bit restless as a result of lack of sleep. I want to cook something for dinner, but don't know what it would be. Well, I realise, No matter how much I want to do something, I will hopelessly end up sitting in front of my computer.


This is my daily routine n I am never tired of it..huhu~~

It's been quite a while since my last update. Many things happened around me. Some people might have their happiest moments in their lives. But for those who grieved and experienced loss, life must go on. And the time will eventually come to us too. May we gain something from anything happened.

Lastly, Happy holiday, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year in advance. Semoga hari ini lebih baik drpd semalam dan esok lebih baik drpd hari ini. <-- azam tahun baru.

donut

this doughnut is so soft and nice..

Made some for breakfast.. I forgot where i got the recipe.. But it's child's play.. Hurmm.. Let me recall what I have added into it..

250g flour
20g sugar
2tbsp butter
a pinch salt
100ml milk
1 egg
half sachet dried yeast

Hurmm.. I hope I don't miss anything here.. Heeee..

First mix flour, sugar, yeast and salt. Add butter, beaten egg, and heated milk. Knead until nice dough is formed. Let it ferment for about half an hour. Form into the desired shapes. Let it ferment once again for about 5 mins. Fry and lastly garnish with fine sugar..

Well I'm now addicted to Desperate Housewives. I have been watching for almost a week straight. I haven't seen this series before, though a friend once told me about this series. But considering the way he told me, that he enjoyed seeing eva longoria's big round butt, i wasn't really interested in the series. Hihi. Until now, I dont recall how I get started with it. Maybe it is just my desperation. HAHA. In conclusion, we are all just too desperate to live a happy life. And happiness can be interpreted in many different ways, each according to ones' personal point of view. And people could be so selfish.

Haha.. It's actually 'Julie and Julia' only. It is based on two written true stories, memoirs written by Julie and Julia themselves : 'My Life in Paris' and 'Julie and Julia: 365 Days, 524 Recipes, 1 Tiny Apartment Kitchen'. This movie is about 2 women from 2 eras having the same passion for cooking.

'My life in Paris' is Julia Child's autobiography. She was an American citizen, who got married to a government officer in 1940s and moved to Paris, where everything started. There, she found herself with nothing to do and tried various activities to fill her time. She at last fell in love with cooking and attended some cooking classes because she could not find any French cookbook in English. She was then underestimated by Frenches, for they claimed themselves as better cooks compared to Americans, where everyone there had cooks in their households. She tried hard and eventually mastered french cooking, when her friends convinced her to teach American Housewives in Paris to cook. The idea of writing a cookbook was initiated by a friend, but they faced difficulties in publishing the book.

kuih keria..

Before goreng..

I call this snowy keria.. Yang ni try2 goreng je, night before.. Nak tgk jadik ke x.. Tu yg malas nk sire gule yg cam biase tu..

And this is caramelized keria. Kalo kat mesia camni la rupe dia.. Ermm.. Sedap..

Simple je care membuatnye.. Rebus keledek sampai empuk, letak garam skit to taste, then lenyek2.. Pastu letak tepung skit.. Uli2.. Pastu bentuk2 kan la macam ni.. Kalo malas buat bulat2 jek.. Hihi.. Pastu goreng.. Siap la first stage..

Then, utk menggulakannye, masakkan beberapa sudu gula n sikit air.. Pastu biar sampai pekat.. Utk memastikan gula dh cukup pekat, titiskan gula tu sampai dia jadi mcm bertali.. Baru masukkan keria yg dh goreng itu.. Pastu gaul2.. Bila gula dh lekat2 kat keria padamkan api..

Kan senang.. Hihi.. Breakfast pun sesuai, minum petang pn boleh.. :)

hurmm.. I just don't have any idea right now.. That's why in my previous entries there were only pictures, pictures and pictures.. But then a picture is worth 1000 words, ain't it? Maybe it's enough to only post some pictures on the blog.. Maybe they could tell better stories than i ever did..hihi..

Oh ya, an acquaintance of mine is admitted to ICU for bacteria infection. She is believed to be infected in Malaysia. I cant really tell her situation right now, for i haven't visited her yet and am not so sure if i have the chance to do so. But let's pray for her. May she recover quickly and be blessed by blooming health. Amin!

Perfume types reflect the concentration of aromatic compounds in a solvent, which in fine fragrance is typically ethanol or a mix of water and ethanol. Various sources differ considerably in the definitions of perfume types. The concentration by percent/volume of perfume oil is as follows:
  • Perfume extract (Extrait): 15-40% (IFRA: typical 20%) aromatic compounds
  • Eau de Parfum (EdP), Parfum de Toilette (PdT): 10-20% (typical ~15%) aromatic compounds. Sometimes listed as "eau de perfume" or "millésime".
  • Eau de Toilette (EdT): 5-15% (typical ~10%) aromatic compounds
  • Eau de Cologne (EdC): Chypre citrus type perfumes with 3-8% (typical ~5%) aromatic compounds
  • Splash and After shave: 1-3% aromatic compounds

Before this when buying perfumes i wasnt really aware about these terms. But now, come to know about it, i will be careful in choosing one.

Apparently, EdP is more concentrated than EdT and therefore, the EdP fragrance stays longer. But normally it costs extra 3-4€. Well, the choice is yours. I had mine :)
